**Two kinds of tree jobs, and how each one is priced**
Most tree jobs fall into two groups. Some can be planned. Others cannot. The group your tree lands in changes the price, the timing and the way a provider approaches it.
Tree Removal covers trees you want gone on your own schedule. Maybe the trunk is leaning toward the roof. Maybe roots are lifting a slab. Maybe the tree is dead and brittle. Planned work gives you room to compare written quotes and ask what is included, such as cleanup, hauling and stump grinding.
Emergency Tree Removal covers trees that have already fallen or split, often after a tropical storm or a heavy downpour. Rates for urgent work can run higher, because of the risk and the rush. Providers in our network can tell you what they are able to take on.
You can help with small things, like clearing a path and moving vehicles. Felling and rigging near a house or power line is pro work.
